Video games were semi-popular in arcades and computers, but the NES, Atari, and more was what truly started video games into becoming what it is today. I wasn't even born yet, but I still played many man games from the 80s as a kid, my first game ever being Super Mario Bros. Plus a LOT of research went into these choices. Some of them are games that I truly love and play still today, others are games that a sort of unbearable now, like Pitfall, but they still were influential in video game history and were amazing at the time... Free 80s Arcade. These are some of my favorite retro arcade games from the 1980's. Growing up in the eighties, I spent countless hours playing these classic video games. I remember playing the Pong Console, TRS-80 Color Computer, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Colecovision, Intellivision, Atari 7800, Sega Master

In this early 80s classic, you had to guide a Jet-Spacecraft across a sideways-scrolling terrain, battling obstacles along the way. Your ship was armed with a forward-firing weapon and some bombs. You also had to avoid colliding with the terrain and other enemies, while simultaneously maintain its limited fuel supply, which diminishes over time.

It was from the old texas instrument computer that played cartritges. All you basically did was climb a mountain while avoiding various objects and animals.

The game designed by Mark Sheeky is not a classic RPG. You don't create your characters, but you can choose between the 8 predefined classes and races. Combat is turn-based, and every character has a limited amount of action points available. Once all points are consumed, the enemies move. Because of this, and the isometric point of view, many have defined the game as a sort of [UFO: Enemy Unknown] and [X-COM: Terror from the Deep] with fantasy settings. There is also an interesting game economy, with money that can be deposited in the banks and used later to buy items and weapons.

It is that the castle is full of treasures. I love this classic game by Kevin Bales! Can you figure out how to finish the game and escape the castle? Castle Adventure had some pretty difficult puzzles and finding all the treasures was quite hard. Here you can find maps of all floors that you can visit in Castle Adventure.

My friends and I were talking about games from the past and we can't remember the name of the game that was on apple computers back in the 80s possibly the early 90s.. It used levers and pulleys and mass of objects to complete the onscreen puzzle. It is similar to The Incredible Machine but came before that did.

They were never my favorite games, though they did receive a good number of my quarters along the way as well. Both of these arcade games were released back in 1978 and helped start a revolution which is still evolving today into game systems like Wii and Xbox 360 and hi-tech arcade games that cost a lot more than a quarter nowadays.
